My name is Jovana.
There’s nothing in the world I love more than reading a good book. Give me a comfortable corner, a soft snugly blanket, a steaming cup of pretty much anything and a gripping story, and you won’t see me for days.
Because of my love for reading and discovering new books, my favorite job so far was working at a library. I worked there for around a year. And I enjoyed helping people find their new favorite reads, starting more stories than I can finish and just wandering through rows and rows of shelves filled with so many books…
On this blog, I’ll try to share my own very subjective take on whatever I’m currently reading. Straight from my heart. My naïve, reckless, delusional heart obsessed with distant worlds and happy endings 😅.
Here’s what my ratings and stars actually mean:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A new favorite!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great book, my full recommendations!
⭐⭐⭐ Middle of the road, not bad but nothing special.
⭐⭐ There were more things I didn’t like about this book than the ones I did.
⭐ I have absolutely nothing nice to say about this book.
Just keep in mind – I will give 5 stars to books that even I thought were objectively not of a great quality, if I only enjoyed them enough. That is why I am including the average rating from Goodreads with each review, to give you a bit more realistic idea. But my reviews will be 100% my own, non-objective, gut feeling ratings, so be warned.
I am only sharing my personal opinion here. Many of you will probably have completely different feelings towards these books, and that’s cool! I’d like to hear from all of you if you agree or disagree with me and why. (You know, as long as we stay respectful ❤️️.)
But I am going to stay honest and true to myself. And who knows – maybe my experience helps you find your next favorite book.
